BSECE Program Specifications
The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING is a branch of engineering that synthesizes available and emerging technologies with knowledge of mathematics, natural, social and applied sciences to conceptualize, design, and implement new, improved, or innovative electronic, computer and communication systems, devices, goods, services and processes. The Electronics Engineering Department of the University of the Immaculate Conception strives to conduct research output.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)
Graduates from the College of Engineering and Architecture are expected to achieve the following program educational objectives few years after graduation:
Demonstrate competence in professional and managerial engineering and/or architecture practice in the Philippines and/or abroad with respect to diverse cultures and values.
Adapt to changes in technological and international standards by actively engaging in engineering and/or architecture professional activities, continuous learning, and professional development opportunities with respect to culture and values that influence society.
Engage in professional activities reflecting a profound faith in God, inspired by the spirituality of humble service, and committed to a continuous search for excellence.
PROGRAM GRADUATE OUTCOMES
By the time of graduation, the students of the Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering program shall have the ability to:
Apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve electronics engineering problems considering moral, ethical and intellectual dimensions.
Conduct investigations of complex electronics engineering problems utilizing appropriate research-based knowledge and innovative methods and technologies including the design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
Design innovative programs, system, component, or process to meet specific needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability, in accordance with standards.
Collaborate in diverse and multidisciplinary teams for the common good.
Solve electronics engineering problems in response to the changing landscapes in the academe and industry.
Practice professional and ethical norms with zeal and passion for the glory of God, home, country, and the world.
Communicate effectively with the engineering community and with the society at large using honest, tactful, and precise language and appropriate media.
Evaluate the impact of electronics engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context to address the changing landscapes in the academe and industry.
Engage in life - long learning activities to better serve others with proficiency and competence, with God as the center of endeavors.
Apply knowledge on contemporary issues relevant to the electronics engineering professional practice in accordance with the Christian faith and values to serve humanity and glorify God.
Use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools to enhance one’s performance and productivity.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of engineering and management principles as a member and leader in a team, to manage and work on projects effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and competencies of at least one specialized field of electronics engineering practice.
